Hi! My name is Ruby and I have been at Operation Kindness for a few months trying to find my forever home. I was adopted in 2007 when I was much younger but somehow I ended up at a city shelter several years later. They called Operation Kindness to see if I could come back to find a home. I was really skinny and hungry for attention so I was wasn't sad about coming back to Operation Kindness where I would get lots of tummy rubs (my favorite) and plenty of kibble!
Did I mention that I love people? I mean really really LOVE them! I am happiest sitting on the porch with one of the Operation Kindness staff members or volunteers while they pet me and I just smile think how lucky I am to have a second chance. I love to go for walks and ride well in the car. I don't love all other dogs though so I would like a house where I could be the one and only pet. Ruby's adoption fee is $160, and she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at a participating vet, $25 off any purchase at Pet Supplies Plus, and one month of health insurance.
