Volunteers are needed to present a fun, interactive humane education program to students during regular school hours on campus and after-school at local recreation centers. Those who are interested must have a heart for children, a love for animals and be able to present the lessons.
All volunteers must pass a criminal background check and complete volunteer orientation.
Kamp Kindness is the popular summer day camp that offers children ages 7 to 12 the opportunity to learn about dogs and cats, and how to take proper care of the family pets. Through direct, frequent contact with our homeless pets, campers are taught the importance of humane animal treatment.
The week-long day camps range from $150 to $175 and include animal encounters, education, plus plenty of fun arts and crafts.
