At Operation Kindness, we work to make the world a kinder place for pets and the people who love them. That includes the pets we care for at our Carrollton animal shelter or the animals in families we support through our Community Initiatives programs.
A Free Pet Food Pantry
An Operation Kindness Community Initiatives program is our Dallas St. Clair Pet Food Pantry that provides pet food and supplies to pet owners in the community in need of assistance. Founded in 2017, the free Pet Food Pantry distributed 243,371 pounds of food to people and their pets in 2024. Just last week, the Dallas St. Clair Pet Food Pantry broke a record by assisting over 100 families during its open hours.
