What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday, on December 3, 2019, is a global day of giving for people all over the world to come together and give to causes they are passionate about, like Operation Kindness. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, Giving Tuesday inspires millions of people across the globe to show up and give back to causes and issues that matter to them. At Operation Kindness, this day is so important to our animals because it helps provide the critical funding that we need to save lives.

Are there any matching funds?

Operation Kindness is thrilled to announce that an anonymous donor has provided a $10,000 match for Giving Tuesday! Gifts given to this campaign will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.

How does Giving Tuesday help Operation Kindness?

Giving Tuesday kicks off the holiday giving season at Operation Kindness. We’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 for the homeless pets in our care. The success that you make possible on Giving Tuesday is absolutely critical to fund our mission. Your donation will provide food, lifesaving care, shelter, and more for the animals. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help create bright futures for homeless pets, we couldn’t do this work without you.
