We’re Celebrating our Highest Adoption Rate of our 47-Year History  

As we kick off the new year, all of us at Operation Kindness are taking a moment to reflect on 2023 and all the amazing things that our supporters made possible for animals across Texas.   

2023 marked several major milestones in our organization, including 5,702 adoptions, the opening of the new PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center, launching a forensics partnership with Dallas Police Department, celebrating the 1,000th trip of its Interstate Animal Transport Program and much more.    

We continued our mission of making the world a kinder place for animals and the people who love them, serving shelter pets as well as animals in the North Texas community who need lifesaving medical care, nourishing food and loving homes.

Heading into 2024, our focus remains on helping the pets that need us most.   

Expanding our reach this year, we will open the Lifesaving Partnerships Hub in Dallas. The Hub will bring a Pet Food Pantry and medical surgery suite to the southern part of Dallas as well as serve as a central location for the Operation Kindness Interstate Transport Program and our forensic partnership with Dallas Police Department.   

Thanks to public support, Operation Kindness will continue to ensure animals in need find loving homes and that pets in the community have access to vaccinations, microchips, spay and neuter services, food and more in 2024. Thank you for being a part of our lifesaving mission!
