Operation Kindness to offer free pet food and vaccines June 22

Pet Food and Vaccine Event

Operation Kindness is excited to announce a free pet food and vaccine clinic on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The event, hosted by the organization’s Community Initiatives and Pet Food Pantry teams, will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Operation Kindness Carrollton shelter, providing essential health services and supplies to community pet owners.

At the event, Operation Kindness will offer:

  • Free rabies and DHPP vaccines for dogs
  • Free rabies and FVRCP vaccines for cats
  • Free dry dog and cat food
  • Free cat litter
  • $10 microchips, ensuring that pets can be reunited with their owners if they ever become lost.

The free clinic is part of Operation Kindness’ ongoing efforts to assist pet owners in the Dallas area. By providing free vaccines, food and supplies, the organization aims to keep pets healthy and reduce the risk of diseases, as well as enable pet owners in the area to be able to take good care of their animals, lowering the need for rehoming.

“It’s our mission to make the world a kinder place for animals and the people who love them,” said Meredith Jones, Chief Community Initiatives Officer at Operation Kindness. “Our goal through our free clinic is to support pet owners and ensure that pets in our community remain healthy and well-nourished.”

Operation Kindness encourages pet owners to arrive early, as supplies and vaccines will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. No prior registration is required.
