At Operation Kindness, we’ve been making the world a kinder place for pets and the people who love them since 1976. While the mission remains the same, each year we strive to grow to offer more of what we do best for animals in Texas, whether it’s the over 5,700 adoptions we completed in 2023, the 24,531 animals we impacted through our Community Initiatives programs last year or the more than 154,000 pounds of food and supplies we distributed through our Pet Food Pantry.
We do all this for the animals, who look to us for lifesaving support when they need it most. With that in mind, it’s humbling and special to receive recognition for what we do from the community. That’s why it’s such an honor to be a finalist for D CEO’s Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards Organization of the Year (Mega).
For these special awards, D CEO and Communities Foundation of Texas “partner to honor professionals and organizations in the nonprofit world that make a positive and efficient impact on the community, while celebrating the efforts of corporations and business leaders who support and collaborate with local nonprofits.”
Operation Kindness is proud to be a finalist in such an esteemed category. It is an honor to be in the company of our fellow finalists, and we look forward to representing pets in Texas at the awards ceremony on July 25.
We can’t share enough how vital our supporters are in making what we do for the animals possible. Thank you for your continued support!
